伯克利大二女众生相(二)
美国大学生对课外活动跟课堂学习一样重视，因而丰富多彩 。女儿宿舍里七位大二生，六位参加了至少一个以上的社团(club)或兄弟(姐妹)会(fraternity)活动， 只有一位成绩不错，学计算机的印度女，什么活动也不参加，她唯一的 爱好，如果算爱好的话，就是看电视。课外活动有专业的和非专业的，象想学医的印度女，参加了化学兄弟会，白女大一就参加了生物工程的club, 现在是领导之一了。非专业更多，除了娱乐运动的外，更多的是做慈善的团体。
来自马里兰的华女，大一就成功参加了Berkeley Consulting(B.C). 这是一个由Haas商学院和学生会组织的大名鼎鼎的非赢利商业管理咨询机构，它的客户主要是500强企业，象GE, 微软等，这些世界级的大企业尤其爱把与年轻一代有关的项目交给他们 。加人这个机构极难，只有2%机率，能进的绝对是伯克利学生中的娇娇者。这华女有个印度裔高中男同学，也在计算机系，被她鼓动也申 请了B.C, 竞也被录取了，看来物以类聚，学霸总是扎堆的。
另一华女，大二开始本想去一心理学实验室打工，每小时20多美元。 同时她亦申请了去著名公益基金会做义工，这个基金会是专门给穷人免费打官司及咨询的, 全美各分部每年只接受300位大学生来做义工， 许多资深的律师也在这里义工，同时指导这些大学生进行工作。 这对义工大学生是难得的机会，除了有直接工作体会外， 也能面对面得到资深律师的指导。华女最后选择了去这里做义工， 她觉得这样更有意义，尤其会有益于她末来的法律生涯。 她一年中一共要做300小时义工，没有酬劳， 却有帮助穷人及行善的快乐，还有在学校里碰不到的挑战。许多人认为这个社会是势利(snob)的，对穷人漠视， 人们对律师印象也不佳，但却有那么一群精英律师及跟随者，牺牲他们每小时能挣数百甚至上千美元的时间，无私地奉献帮助穷人，这真是让人敬佩的事。
七室友还有一位热衷于舞蹈，尤其嘻哈(Hip hop)舞, 她常是club中最早到，最晚离开的。嘻哈舞也是大学生中流行的舞蹈，每次活动总是人满为患，可以想象到，在一个大礼堂里，两三千人同时跳着嘻哈舞，那场景有多震撼！此室友有次跳完舞， 玩兴未尽，又去喝了点酒，回来走路不稳的样子，被一巡警看到，警察不放心，要把她送到宿舍，她告诉警察她没有喝酒，不需要护送。她上了宿舍楼，还跟警察大声叫嚷再见，此时二男生窜出来叫住警察，原来这女生走错到对面的男生宿舍了。

Nike runs about a 1/2 size small. I wear a 10.5 normally and wear an 11 in Nike. Good shoes.

I wear size 8 shoe -orderd size 8 -normal width .I m 5'7" -130 lbs . They fit perfect . Little snug at first as are all new shoes . Hope this helps with concerning ordering a size larger issue .

This is my third pair of these shoes. I have wide feet so I have a hard time finding good shoes that fit well. These work great and each pair lasts me at least twice as long as previous shoes I have tried. They are very comfortable.

Got these for my husband's birthday. He loves them and they are so comfortable. He likes that retro style with the 'air' cushion feature and he'll use them while he is working in the shop standing on the concrete floor. Found a good price too.

I love these, but the size was a tad smaller then American womens sizes. Which was odd, because i ordered the same shoe, just diffrent colors, with same sizes, and one was smaller then the other. It took a while to really get these broke in. The color is great!

I have owned three pair if these shoes and every time I purchase another brand I keep coming back. I have a wide foot and these shoes fit me great. And even though I have read reviews that talk about squeaking I have not had this problem. But it seems like an easy fix if I do.

Exactly as described. Good, well made shoes for a good price. I tend to walk on the outside of my left foot based on bone alignment from a broken leg so need shoes with a stitched on sole to keep them from falling apart. These shoes have a good arch, are made of excellent material, and fit perfectly. And I think they look sharp without being too flashy. I'd buy them again.

I used to have a pair of ASICS - forgot the model/type but they were fairly sturdy/rigid and survived hikes in the mountains of Hong Kong to treadmills here in CA. These Nikes were my first pair of Nikes ever.As expected of running shoes, they're very light - lighter than I had anticipated. I have flat feet but these are very comfortable and on average, I run a mile a day and they've held up well, although it's because I only run indoors now. The material doesn't make me very confident that they'd last very long if worn/used anywhere else but indoors.

I will start by saying I ordered these for my son for Christmas after he picked them out only 2 weeks before and they arrived before Amazon said they would, being a Prime member I was still skeptical but they were here quickly. the package arrived in excellent condition, important because my son also likes to keep the shoe boxes with his sneakers. Shoes looked good a little deformed in the front of one shoes since i guess it was thrown around in the mail but besides that it looks great. Also it can take up to 28-30 day to receive it so dont get impatient.

Absolutely love these shoes. They shipped quick and fit great. I havenamp;'t experienced any of the squeaking issues reported by others yet. I will definitely update this review if that does occur.Out of the box they are very nice looking shoes. They are made well and have quality stitching. As a real sneaker enthusiast, I have several pairs of 4s to compare this product to. The stichwork and glue work is exceptional for this price point. Everything is 1:1 except the netting on the side is almost vertical when it should be slightly slanted. The shipping time was about 10 days which is very impressive for a DHGate item. Tracking was flawless and I'm very impressed with the shoe. The box was mildly damaged (as expected from an item that originates overseas). The box was also for a pair of Thunder 4s when I got black cat 4s, but this is no issue as I am not a reseller. Appreciate the product, keep up the great work.
